Long Sought Home is a hymn from the Sacred Harp tradition.

William Bobo purportedly translated the text from an 8^th century Latin hymn. Most Sacred Harp singings seem to drop some of the verses, which is unfortunate.

Millions of years around may run--
Our songs shall still go on,
To praise the Father and the Son
And Spirit, Three in One.
